How long will it take to build the website?

Once the vision for your website is mapped out, it normally takes us 2-5 weeks to complete it, providing we have all the information from you.

How many rounds of edits are typically included?

Before we build your new website, we’ll design a mockup of your page for you to see our initial designs. This is your opportunity to give us feedback and a list of edits that you want us to make (phase 1). Don’t worry, if you change your mind or you want to make additional changes, we offer two full revisions of your website during the development phase (phase 2) to make sure you are satisfied with what we deliver.

I already have a website, how easy is it to change it?

If you have an existing website, that’s great. We can build your new website on a temporary URL while your other website is still live. Once you are happy with the new site, we can swap the old site for the new one.

What will you need from me?

Depending on what type of website you want, we could need images of you, your team and your food, content for the website (text, menu, etc.), videos you would like us to add and login details to your existing website. Some of this might already be on the existing website, in which case it can be transferred over to the new website.

Do you offer a payment schedule?

Yes, we split the payment into two. The first 50% is taken prior to the beginning work. The following 50% is taken 30 days after the approval of the mockup.

Do I need hosting, how much does hosting cost and who hosts my website?

Yes. Hosting is like renting space on the internet and will usually cost several hundred dollars per year, depending on your requirements. If we build your website, we will usually host it for you so you do not need to do anything. We will pay the hosting fee for the first year and we’ll send you an invoice once a year thereafter. Alternatively, you can host the website elsewhere and manage it yourself.

How do I maintain my website?

We’ll teach you how to make changes to your WordPress website so you can edit and delete content without paying us to do it for you. We also offer maintenance for your website on a “pay as you go” plan or through our “unlimited” maintenance plan. Our unlimited maintenance plan includes requested edits and changes to your website, security updates, routine backups, and more.
